Carl Pergola joins BDO Seidman as consulting director
BDO Seidman, LLP, has named Carl W. Pergola as executive director of the company. BDO, a national professional services firm, provides consulting, tax, financial, advisory, and assurance services to an extensive range of privately held and publicly traded companies. Pergola previously led the firm's litigation and fraud investigation practice. He will assume his New York-based new position immediately. Pergola is an associate member of the American Bar Association and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the American Institute of CPAs, and the New York State Society of CPAs. J.H. Cohn consulting firm raises $130,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation
J.H. Cohn, LLP, one of the top 20 consulting and accounting firms in the Northeast, raised $130,000 at its sixth annual firm-wide Bowl-A-Thon. Bowlers sought sponsorships and donations from their families, friends, and clients. The total funds raised by J.H. Cohn to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey add up to a total of about $600,000 over the past six years. These funds have granted the wishes of nearly 100 New Jersey children suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
