Aon Is Looking For A Health and Welfare Benefits Legal Consultant (Senior Consultant)  We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a senior health and welfare benefits legal consultant in a fast-paced, but friendly environment. This position will work in the Aon Health Solutions Legal Consulting group along with a dozen other attorneys and fifteen other professionals to provide legal consulting services to internal team members and external clients of the Aon Health Solutions practice. This position is available to be worked remotely, managed from our Norwalk, CT office. Your Impact as a Health and Welfare Benefits Legal ConsultantJob Responsibilities:Responsibility for consulting and advising both internal partners and external clients on federal and state health and welfare laws and regulations, including State and local leave law requirements, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and the Internal Revenue Code taxation of benefits provisions. Track and monitor new laws and regulations, as well as revisions to existing laws on the federal and state level that impact health and welfare employee benefits. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and internal customers in plain language on legal changes to various federal and state laws and regulations, including the design, administrative, strategic and financial implications.Research and respond to health and welfare employee benefit questions in a fast-paced environment.
