Aon is looking for a Consultant Stroz Friedberg, LLC, an Aon Corporation company, seeks a Consultant based out of headquarters in New York, New York to perform cyber security analysis under limited supervision. Assess and investigate IT security programs and environments. Your impact as a Consultant Job Responsibilities:Understand existing processes and controls with respect to electronic and non-electronic information security. Develop security programs by reviewing existing programs, conducting comprehensive reviews of threats, and evaluating and analyzing relevant data points.Develop strategies to reduce security risks across cloud services, on-premises infrastructure, servers, network devices, and user endpoints. Perform cyber security risk assessment with assessment frameworks including NIST, ISO, HIPAA, SOC2, and DSS PCI.Conduct cyber security analysis for cloud environments, including Office 365, Azure, and AWS. Develop strategies to defend against cyber threats including ransomware, nation-state attacks, and malicious insiders.Confer with in-house security specialists, incident response handlers, digital forensic experts, network engineers, system engineers, and web application engineers to explore and report on specific security risk issues.Document results of security risk analyses and formally present deliverables. Track emerging security practices and contribute to building internal processes.Understand current regulatory environment and related implications for security management compliance.Develop internal tools using programming languages to conduct assessments of cyber environments and automatically determine security posture.All positions require an applicant who has accepted an offer to undergo a background check.May work from home 5 days per week. May travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States up to 25% of the time.Annual salary: $88,100.00 - $146,900.00.You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field plus one year of cyber security analysis experience. Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following: 1. Assessing and investigating IT security programs and environments; 2. Developing strategies to reduce security risks across cloud services, on-premises infrastructure, servers, network devices, and user endpoints; 3. Performing cyber security risk assessment with at least two of the following assessment frameworks: NIST, ISO, HIPAA, SOC2, and DSS PCI; 4. Conducting cyber security analysis for cloud environments, including Office 365, Azure, and AWS.  5. Tracking emerging security practices and contribute to building internal processes; and 6.
