Description
The Senior Risk Management Professional will support the establishment of Humana's Clinical Risk Management Program within Humana's 2nd Line of Defense function. The candidate will be a member of a team building a clinical risk program responsible for defining how Humana will identify and manage clinical risk, as well as measure the effectiveness of the processes put in place. This candidate will be expected to leverage their experience in either a clinical environment, payer space engaging in clinical operations, or clinical oversight to help establish and govern risk management best practices.
Responsibilities
The Senior Risk Management Professional must be an independent worker capable of working without direct supervision, who proactively works to understand problems and identify solutions. The candidate will help establish foundational program definitions, taxonomy, and processes which will enable the completion of the full risk management cycle of identifying, assessing, managing, and monitoring clinical quality risk. This program will be responsible for determining how Humana manages risk in its clinics, home practice, and what expectations are set for providers. The candidate will work with partners in each of these business areas to define and implement clinical risk management, and to monitor and report on performance.
Requirements
5 years of experience in risk management, consulting, auditing
Experience in either a clinical/provider setting or in a payer/oversight function engaged with clinical operations
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with operational leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with clinical risk management, safety, quality
Experience with Power BI
Experience with a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform
