As an IT Strategy Consultant, you will have the unique opportunity to understand the bigger picture for one of the world’s largest companies. You will provide consulting support for strategic IT themes impacting our business through short, highly structured engagements. Working well under pressure, you analyze the as-is technology portfolio, review trends and innovations in the market and understand the dynamics of our business. You then use this information to define strategic insights and provide your clients with a clear and structured advise, backed up by a solid dataset or business case.
You will be working as part of our IT Strategy Consulting Center of Expertise (CoE), a group of likeminded professionals who are passionate about helping Shell use technology to drive our business into the future. The CoE partners closely with each area of our business to develop IT Strategic insights where they matter most. You will be reporting into the (country) lead of the IT Strategy Consulting CoE.
As part of this role you will:
Lead or be part of strategic engagements in which you:
Use your communications skills to partner with (senior) stakeholders across all of Shell.
Analyze business goals and objectives by engaging with senior business leaders.
Understand the latest market trends and provide competitive insights.
Provide a view on how IT and new digital technologies can help us to achieve our goals better, faster and cheaper.
Develop clear recommendations, underpinned by data and a solid business case.

Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum five (5) years’ relevant IT experience
Experience or keen affinity with IT and digital technologies required
Oil & Gas and/or Energy experience a plus
Previous strategic consultancy experience preferred
Proven track record of building strong stakeholder relationships at different organizational levels
Resilient and able to manage challenge and resistance
Results/outcomes oriented, business value focused
Confident and able to work in high-ambiguity work environment
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
