Aon Is Looking For A Health Solutions Assistant Vice President/Account Executive (Health & Benefits) As part of an industry-leading team, you will help our clients empower results and make better data driven decisions that will positively impact their people and their business. You will be an integral contributor in delivering innovative and effective solutions that improve people’s experience and reduce organizational risk. This role will be based out of Aon’s Dallas, TX office. Candidates located outside of Dallas may be considered; however the preference is Dallas based. Those outside of Dallas will be required to travel to the Dallas office as needed.  Your Impact as an AVP/Account Executive: Aon’s mission is to empower economic and human possibility and you will play an integral role in achieving that mission. You will be a key contributor and leader for clients with 100-1000 employees and some clients with 1,000 employees. You will lead teams and manage the U.S. health and benefits work for your clients as well as collaborate with other Aon lines of business to deliver maximum impact. You will have frequent interactions with executives, HR leaders and benefits directors to provide for the delivery of benefits consulting services. Job Responsibilities:Retain and grow the client relationship through excellent service and providing solutions to solve their most pressing business and benefits issues Direct the internal consulting teamDelegate responsibilities effectively; coach and mentor team membersPerform sophisticated strategy and design consulting to include:Benefit strategyGoal settingBenchmarkingPlan designPricing strategyBid/selection projectsHealth plan managementWellbeingIndustry innovations Results/Outcomes MeasurementOwnership for final deliverables and service outcomesBuild relationships with client across multiple levels of their organizationUnderstand clients' business, goals and challenges to effectively relay to other Aon team membersPartner with other Aon lines of business to bring the best of Aon to the clientLead contract negotiations and scoping needsHandle compensation and profitabilityExhibit leadership in business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutionsLead/facilitate complex client meetings Coordinate & lead all aspects of vendor negotiations Provide technical mentoring and coaching to other team membersAct as strategic resource for consultants and producersExhibit thought leadership—understand and be able to articulate ideas to clientsEnsure operational excellence, including adherence to internal compliance requirements Partner with producers on new business pursuitsRequired Experience:Bachelor's degree in relevant field 7 years Health and Benefits backgroundAt least 4 years Consulting experience ideallyClient facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, brokerage or in the Health and Benefits field.Sophisticated & complex project management experienceBroad business knowledge/perspectiveTeam building skillsBusiness development experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office toolsActive Health & Life licenseWe offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The salary range for this position is $100,000-150,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is an estimate, based on a primary work location of the state of Texas. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans.
