SAP Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Managing Consultant will be responsible for successful delivery of functional and technical components of planning solutions using SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 7.0 / 7.5. This role will apply functional and integration knowledge of SAP ERP tools, cross finance skills, planning and BI systems and should have managed delivery of these solutions.

Responsibilities include, using knowledge of leading practices within the business planning cycles, including strategic, financial and operational planning. Experience in process integration between financial and S&OP planning scenarios is a plus. Should have strong insights and configuration knowledge of SAP controlling, SAP CO-PA or Product Costing, SAP BPC and SAP BI tools is a must.

Candidate should be able to advice clients on solution architecture, assist in sales and had experience in sizing of these projects. Use of formal system implementation methodologies during project prep, requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment is required.

Key Capabilities of Role:

Design and interpretation of reporting architecture for SAP BI

Understanding of SAP ECC data structures and interfaces to SAP BI

BPC Administration experience

Design and configuration experience for allocation, distributions, trending etc

Report and Input schedules design and development

Knowledge of Script Logic

Experience with other EPM tools like Cognos, Hyperion or other business planning software packages is nice to have and process integration of financial consolidations is a plus.

Certificate in Finance/ Accounting / MBA /CPA/CIPM is strongly desired along with previous financial planning and analysis experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to interact with senior managers and executives of client companies and a proven track record managing, designing and implementing change in complex businesses. The candidate must be a team player, able to lead or manage a project as well as be able to work independently. 100% travel required.

* Bachelor's Degree

* At least 4 years experience in Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting and Financial Reporting Process knowledge

* At least 4 years experience in SAP BPC (formerly OutlookSoft), SAP BPS, SAP IP or similar Planning solution experience

* Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)

* English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

* At least 6 years experience in Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting and Financial Reporting Process knowledge

* At least 6 years experience in SAP BPC (formerly OutlookSoft), SAP BPS, SAP IP or similar Planning solution experience

* English : Intermediate

NOTE: This role can be located in any large metropolitan US City.
