Aon is looking for a Compensation Consultant - 2506449As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our McLagan business group within Aon's Human Capital Solutions team. This position offers an opportunity to work as a Compensation Consultant in New York Stamford or other surrounding locations. Many of our key client relationships extend back to McLagan’s inception in 1966.Your impact as a Compensation ConsultantWe currently have an immediate need for an experienced consultant to join one of our business teams as a Compensation Consultant. The Compensation Consultant will be part of a highly productive team of industry experts. In our team-based work environment, the Compensation Consultant will contribute to our clients’ business decisions made by their senior leaders, including executive management and boards of directors.Job Responsibilities:Analyze data related to annual benchmark surveys and client engagements.Research existing and emerging trends in client businesses.Analyze and interpret compensation data and prepare summary reports with market insights, reflecting an understanding of client segment trends.Respond to client ad-hoc requests and questions within ability/knowledge.Mentor and provide guidance to more junior staff.You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseUnderstanding of CompensationSurvey benchmarking skillsAbility to derive meaningful insights from quantitative and qualitative data.Strong mathematics and statistics skillsExcellent presentation skillsAbility to be consultative having strong verbal and written communicationStrong organizational skills with outstanding attention to detailQuick learner, independent thinkerCreative and proactive problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and on a team while balancing multiple projectsSuperior Excel and PowerPoint knowledgeExperience: 4 years of compensation consulting or compensation experience within a corporate environment.
