Work you’ll do
As a Strategic Communications Consultant, you will assist the Strategy, Communications, and Special Projects workstream within a larger Program Management Office. The Strategy, Communications, and Special Projects workstream is a highly visible team that works directly with program leadership to lead efforts in developing and executing initiatives focused on a three pillar strategy – our people, our business, and our clients.
This role includes leading program wide engagement activities (e.g. All Hands meetings, facilitation of an AF FIAR Culture Team, Voice of the Customer Series, etc.), developing data visualizations and marketing collateral (e.g. dashboard development and placemat creation), designing and facilitating workshops, and supporting the development of a Client Relationship Management Strategy.
The team also assists with the development and distribution of various communications, including the Monthly Newsletter, program-wide guidance, processes, reminders, and event invitations. In addition, this resource will also support with Program Management Office client deliverables including Monthly Contract Management reports and Biannual Program Management Reviews.

Strategy & Analytics will work with our clients to:
Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms
Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum Active Secret Security Clearance
2 years of professional strategic communications experience
2 years of experience, and expertise, with PowerPoint (storytelling and deck development)
2 years of experience with data visualization tools
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other business-related field
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work with both technical and functional resources
Affinity for learning new technology and create problem solving with it
Well organized and able to work independently
Affinity for learning new programming languages, tools, and applications
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
