Aon Is Looking for A Health Solutions- Health & Benefits Consultant As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Health and Benefits Consulting business group within Aon in our Denver, CO office. This person would support the Middle Market (500-5,000) team throughout the Denver Market. Candidates can be located in Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT. We may also be open to other areas located in our Western region. Candidates with less experience may have the opportunity to be considered for an Analyst level role.Your Impact as Health and Benefits ConsultantThe purpose of this role is to act as the lead client consultant and own all levels of project management to support execution of Client Service Delivery. This position will act as the primary day to day contact of clients and oversight of client team & support. The Health Solutions Benefits Consultant will collaborate with the client Account Executive to assist with execution of strategy and special projects. It includes analysis, drafting client presentations, participation in client meetings and the identification of client needs for other services.Roles and Responsibilities:Conducts and leads client meetings, monitors and executes deliverablesAbility to work independentlySupports Account Executive growth goals by identifying revenue opportunities where appropriateWorks with other client team members to deliver on projectsPartner with the actuarial team to prepare and deliver financial analysisPartner with the broking team to prepare and deliver marketing analysisVendor managementPlan document reviewStrong negotiation and communication skillsStrong compliance knowledgeAbility to develop and maintain carrier relationshipsKnowledge of market trendsKnowledge of various benefit funding levels (i.e. level funding, self-funding, fully insured)Ability to articulate recommendations to clients, and work with them in a consultative mannerResolves client issues at appropriate levels and leverages other team members when neededActs with professionalism and integrityAbility to act as a mentor to other peersPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Consulting or US benefit consulting experience strongly preferred.Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).Attention to detailStrong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.Project management and strong analytical ability.Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPointWorking knowledge of benefits and services offered and value to clients.Strong face to face presentation skills.Strong compliance knowledge in the Health and Benefits industryEducation:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.License or Certificate Requirements: appropriate Insurance License/Life and HealthWe offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The salary range for this position is $65,000- $87,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is an estimate, based on a primary work location of the state of Colorado. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans.
