Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.
As a member of the Consumer and Small Business Banking Technology team's Digital Technologies Strategic Initiatives and Operations team, this resource plans and defines roadmaps and leads the implementation of new technologies and capabilities. Takes into account multiple viewpoints, including technology trends, risks, definition of future state, and decisions and guidelines from other Wells Fargo groups, as well as complexity across people, process and tools dimensions, when defining scope and implementation approach. Resource will be responsible for defining Proofs of Concept and Pilots for new technologies, lead cross-functional teams with representatives from Engineering Strategy, Application Engineering, DevOps, and others to define scope and implementation roadmaps, as well as develop high-level implementation plans to directly manage or delegate execution to other resources/teams. Resource will report to Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Operations in the Consumer Experience Engineering organization.
Required Qualifications:
7 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: internet based business systems, intranet based business systems, or e-business consulting
7 years of technology project management experience
5 years of experience working within an application development environment
5 years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
5 years of experience leading multiple workstreams, applications, or deliverables
5 years of DevOps experience
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
5 years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
7 years of experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
Ability to manage tactical or strategic initiatives
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
3 years of process improvement experience
Ability to manage multiple technology development efforts
Ability to manage projects and issues involving multiple technology platforms
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to present to decision makers in a professional and confident manner
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
3 years of Adkar Prosci or other change management methodology experience
