We are hiring a Consultant - Strategy to be a part of our growing organization. This is a full time remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market-level scans, market assessments and analyses for the ministry market's Dynamic Strategic Plan.
Develop analyses related to ministry market strategic positioning, market conditions, service lines, competitor actions, and volume/market share trends.
Serve as a general analytics and strategic intelligence resource.
Develop key analytic inputs to the ministry market's long-term strategic plan, ambulatory strategies, service line plans and capital project business plans.
Conduct analysis required to support the identification of gaps, variation and duplication of services within the ministry market's clinically integrated system of care.
Conduct research and analyses required to support the strategic decision making process, including utilization forecasts, capacity analyses and in-migration/out-migration studies.
Demonstrate strategic thinking and strong communication skills while solving complex problems in a dynamic healthcare ecosystem, substantiated by the ability to present clear proactive strategic opportunities and execution strategies backed by data.
Complete assigned tasks, ad hoc requests, projects in accordance with assigned timeframes and present analyses and findings to stakeholders.
Publishes, distributes, and ensures alignment of data tools that support strategic initiatives that consultant develops and controls all changes, iterations, and versions.
Qualifications:
Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrated analytical abilities, and the ability to work both independently and within teams
Experience using business analytical skills and analysis of healthcare data (Clinical data, claims, etc.), and healthcare market research
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation skills, confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of the organization
Demonstrate ability to multitask and manage multiple projects while ensuring all deadlines are met
Intrapreneurial spirit (entrepreneurial spirit with ability to thrive in a large organization) required
Comfort with learning new analytical tools (proficiency in Tableau or other visualization tools considered a plus)
Advanced level skill in Google Suite / Microsoft Office.
Comfortable with ambiguity and take the initiative to drive towards effective resolution
Specific Position Qualifications:
Exceptional understanding of healthcare industry dynamics - providers, payers, patients, etc. - and national competitive benchmarking
Requirements
Education:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
5 years of experience required.
10 years of experience preferred.
