SAP Business Objects Business Analytics consultant

Profile

Qlarion is seeking experienced, well-rounded SAP Business Objects (Business Analytics) consultant with a focus on analytics creation and report development. This individual will serve as the Business Analytics technical lead and will be working directly with the client to develop advanced and creative analytics solutions to a variety of business problems leveraging several SAP tools including HANA.
The project, located in Boston MA, will be a fast-paced project requiring smart individuals that can work as a team to solve challenging, data-driven problems. The desired candidates must meet the requirements below and will be compensated based on their qualifications.
- U.S. Citizenship a plus
- Required Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 5 years of hands-on experience configuring/customizing an assortment of SAP Business Objects tools
- Must have at least 3 full lifecycle (requirements gathering, analysis, design, configure, test, Go Live) Business Objects 4.0 implementations
- Experience as a Business Objects team lead/architect for at least 2 full lifecycle implementations
- Experience with the 4.0 reporting toolsuite - Dashboard Design, Crystal, WeBI and Explorer.
- Experience in data modeling for a data warehouse. Knowledge of the EIM (4.0) tools - Data Services / Information Steward
- Experience customizing/configuring Business Objects Universes using IDT and Universe Designer.
- Experience configuring Xcelsius/Dashboards, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports
- Experience installing, configuring and administering Business Objects 4.0 environments
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to support pre-sales initiatives and scoping
- Ability to conduct end-user training and workshops
- Team-oriented individual
- Business Objects Data Services, Voyager, Explorer, Live Office experience a plus
- Unix/Solaris experience a plus
- Other BI tool experience a plus
- Other SAP application (SAP Business Warehouse, Portal, MDM) experience a plus
