Test Engineer

Profile

DCS is seeking a Test Engineer who participates in the planning, conducting and reporting of system-level technical testing. Essential Job Functions:
Assists in coordinating and conducting functional tests ; assists in summarizing, documenting, and reporting various C5ISR test data and results to senior technical leadership; participates in Test working groups and materiel development meetings to assist in developing coordinated fielding and testing schedules; assists in developing and producing Test Design Plans and transformation initiatives. Performs routine work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Provides professional engineering support with increasing independent accomplishment. Develops, maintains, upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements and reports status for system test cases. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Services as a subject matter specialist, providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications. Participates in all phases of risk management. Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience performing systems engineering, integration and/or test. At least two years experience developing and execuring sysem-level test cases. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret within 6-9 months of start date. Desired Skills:
Experience with cybersecurity and/or electronic warfare systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. COVID-19 continues to significantly impact our employees, families and communities.
