The Strategy Consultant provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities within Provider Process & Services (PPS) at Humana. This role will provide business intelligence and strategic planning support for PPS in Humana's Consumer & Provider Service & Solutions (CPSS) organization. The consultant will collaborate with Directors within PPS, other Strategy Consultants & Professionals as well as the PPS Culture & Engagement Lead.

This is a remote/work-at-home position, however, it is strongly preferred (but not required) that this role be located in Louisville, KY for in-person collaboration when CDC restrictions are lifted.

Responsibilities

The Strategy Consultant will:


Lead initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources
Bring expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis by collaborating with leaders and strategy partners in the organization
Ensure that policies and procedures align with corporate vision
Respond to requests for data and insights from senior leaders to drive collaboration and progress on strategic initiatives
Manage relationships across PPS, CPSS and the Enterprise to attain our common objectives, manage stakeholders, and connect various parts of the business towards a common goal
Utilize data to tell a story to drive actionable insights and recommendations through creative presentations, executive level summaries, data analysis and visualization
Assist leadership team with managing their operational cadence as well as develop presentations/dashboards that help showcase the work of the area for forums for senior leaders and the Board
Coordinate the complex and diverse functions of PPS and CPSS, resulting in vertical and horizontal efficiencies, holistic customer service, and improved business and associate outcomes


Based on current guidance from the CDC, local and state governments, and Humana leadership related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have extended travel restrictions until further notice. The policy will be reassessed as the situation warrants. Once these restrictions are lifted this role may require up to 25% travel depending on business needs; may require more for anyone not located in Louisville, KY.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent business related experience
4 years of experience creating executive level summaries and presentations
4 years of project leadership experience
Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence to drive consensus and solutions using a positive, values based approach
Data driven, analytical mindset with strong critical thinking skills
Exceptionally strong relationship building and management skills
Ability to balance divergent needs and priorities in a complex organizational structure
Exceptional oral and written communications with the ability to communicate with all levels including Senior and Executive leadership
Must meet Humana work-at-home/remote requirements (see Additional Information)

MBA
OKR Methodology experience
Previous consulting experience

Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings
Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
