As a Sr. Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Retail Lending Group, you will be based in Cleveland, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Houston, Texas or Birmingham, Alabama. The Retail Lending Strategy and Planning organization plays a key role in PNCs Retail Lending organization helping develop and sustain customer solutions and experiences. Within this organization, the Experience Reengineering team focuses on a wide variety of stakeholders such as customers, vendors and front line production staff to understand and document processes. The team works collaboratively with Product and Operations leaders as well as partners in Technology, Decision Management and Finance to define experience-based solutions. As a Sr Business Analytics Consultant on the Experience Reengineering team, you will be asked to support complex process mapping and improvement challenges. We are looking for professionals who can tackle ambiguous problems and deliver process maps as well as identify process improvement opportunities. Qualifications: -BS/BA in a Business or STEM related area. -A background in process mapping tools such as ARIS is preferable -3 years prior experience as a process improvement analyst or equivalent -Analytics related experience is desired -Strong communication skills -Ability to work collaboratively -Strong organizational and project management skills Job Description Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions. Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development. Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements. Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making. Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences. Consulting Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Decision Making and Critical Thinking Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions. Effective Communications Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Emerging Technologies Knowledge of and ability to design, apply and evaluate new information technologies for business environments in order to improve work productivity and accuracy. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3 years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
