Throughout the install process, the Pod Lead supervises a variety of tasks ranging from application deployment, configuration, performance testing and go-live. In this role, they will require strong troubleshooting skills across a distributed Windows environment with multiple interfaces. The Pod Lead will have direct interaction with clients requiring strong technical and communication skills. Role Summary: The Install Analyst works as part of a small team (u201cpodu201d) that installs or upgrades Navitaire clients onto a new release of the Navitaire reservation system (New Skies). Throughout the install process, the Install Analyst provides a variety of tasks ranging from application deployment, configuration, performance testing and go-live. In this role, they will require strong troubleshooting skills across a distributed Windows environment with multiple interfaces. The install analyst will have direct interaction with clients requiring strong technical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Application deployment and configuration of the New Skies reservation system including add-on applications. This also includes subsequent upgrades during the course of the project. Provide technical and functional support to customers during user acceptance testing. Learn and follow stablished team standards, processes and documentation. Perform operational validation testing of the environment to ensure all technical and operational components are in place and working as expected. This includes: Able to complete full operational verification. Clean sign off from the run of our automation tools for the clientu2019s UAT account. Confirmation that all system health monitoring is in place and working properly. Complete project milestones on time and on budget. Participate in performance testing of the environment to ensure contractual compliance before go-live. Provide feedback to improve our documentation, processes, automation, etc. Respond to tickets as they come in during the course of the project. Attend weekly carrier status meetings and provide meeting notes from the Install perspective to pod lead. Prepare for and participate in go-live readiness exercises for assigned client(s). Participate and execute go-live operational tasks to bring environments live. Resolve all outstanding post go-live issues to allow for the successful hand-off to Production Management support. Understand and align to Change Management processes.Minimum Basic Qualifications Minimum 2 years' experience working with Windows 2016/2019 and Windows services Azure experience Experience with Event Log, RDP, Telnet, SMTP, Clusters, and Memory Dumps FTP, SFTP, XML experience Experience working with IIS 6.0, 7.0, 7.5, and web sites Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associateu2019s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) Preferred Qualifications Active Directory experience Experience working with Users, groups, OUu2019s SQL Server SQL language SQL Management Studio SQL Reporting Services SQL profiler. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
