This is a Teradata Developer / Modeler position within our client's enterprise data warehouse team. The Teradata
Developer/Modeler will be a key influencer and active participant in the design and development of the enterprise data
warehouse. This position will mainly focus on initiatives associated with technologies such as Teradata SQL, BTEQ, Shell
Scripting, Maestro scheduling, etc. The developer shall have excellent understanding of the support processes, with the
ability to guide and direct work on multiple tasks and work collaboratively with other members of the IT community.

• Works with guidance on more complex projects
• Capable of applying knowledge to handle all but the most complex problems independently
• Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts
• Looks for and finds ways to improve operations
• Individual typically has at least 5-7 years of related experience
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
• Participate in technical studies and evaluations of business requirements and technological alternatives.
• Recommend appropriate systems solutions.
• Provide direction and guidance to other programmers.
• Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of complex applications with complex subsystems that may affect
the entire system or multiple systems applications.
• Advise on methods to improve scalability.
• Prepare communications, documentation and conducts classes on new system alternatives.
• Consult and provide guidance to client and IT personnel.
• Receive general supervision and is competent to work at the highest technical level of systems consulting while
working on own most of the time.
Job Requirements:
• Teradata modeling and development experience
• Information strategy development and business capability identification
• Governance and Standards experience
• Teradata SQL, BTEQ, Shell Scripting, and Maestro scheduling
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
