Small manufacturer in the Tukwila, WA area seeks a Payroll Consultant for 4 weeks or longer. In this contract assignment the payroll professional will analyze and review payroll processes for accuracy and efficiency, research payroll discrepancies, review payroll reporting and payroll tax withholdings, and ensure payroll calculations are correct for exempt and non-exempt employees. Reports to CFO.
Qualifications for Payroll Accounting position in Tukwila, WA:
5 years of payroll experience
Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax compliance, and labor laws
Proficient with Excel and payroll systems
Proven experience identifying payroll discrepancies and problem solving
Ability to read and interpret payroll data and reports
