What the day will look likeServe as the primary auditor of absence projects in leave, disability, life, and other leave of absence product lines, including:Obtain understanding of project scope requirements and needs with internal colleaguesReview documentation of client and carrier to understand plan provisions, processes, and special handling instructions, as applicableEnsure claim selection is done per client request and/or plan designIndependently perform an end-to-end review of claim management or system configuration with administrator, document findings in audit tool and other notes, and identify claim errors against best practiceManage data errors and carrier responses in databaseReview reports of audit results with analysis of findings, with potential to expand to writing audit results in reportsRegular active involvement in audit activities, comprehensive of maintaining project and lead tracking, drafting and issuance of a variety of audit documents to the assigned administrator, working with technical colleagues for claim audits, and testing of audit toolsParticipate in various internal and external meetings, including audit scope identification, administrator kick-off calls, administrator operational assessments, and client report deliveryBuilds productive working relationships with peers and higher-level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendationsMay provide guidance and training to process-oriented colleaguesChance to lead smaller projects with supervision by someone senior and to work on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors, with the ability to provide advisory services to clients and other consultants regarding industry best practicesPromotes opportunities for cost savings, productivity improvement, and revenue generationPossesses an awareness of larger team/department strategies and customer needsApplies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues How this opportunity is differentThis Aon Auditor position is within an exclusive subset of the Health Solutions division.
