Job Description
The Strategic Proposal Consultant's primary responsibility is to support the growth of Aetna membership by managing the development of customer focused and strategically oriented proposals that focus on overall capabilities and the Aetna value story.
Strategic Proposal Consultants are responsible for Project Management. They participate in the discussion of strategy, make sure it is reflected in our proposal and have overall responsibility and accountability for the quality and timeliness of our response. They work on a wide range of proposals for National Accounts and Middle Market constituents (brokers/consultants, prospects and customers). This position offers a high level of visibility in Corporate proposals. The work we do provides our team members with a broad perspective of our business, customers and the solutions we offer. Past candidates have gone on to success in positions of greater responsibility both within the department and in other parts of our company. Additional responsibilities include responding to proposal follow-up, completing ad-hoc requests, and participating in project initiatives. We are seeking candidates with a foundational level of experience in project management, proposal management, and the health insurance industry. The successful candidate must be well organized, able to manage multiple projects, adapt to rapidly changing priorities, and contribute to the strategies and creative solutions that help drive success with our customers.

Required Qualifications
2 years of project management, sales support role
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
* PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the health insurance industry is desired.

* Effectively working in a team environment.

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
