Aon is looking for a Health Solutions, Vice President, Pharmacy Consultant- Health Plan As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Health. This position can be based out of any of our US based Aon offices. The VP Pharmacy Health Plan Consultant is accountable for developing and carrying out strategies to increase pharmacy benefit savings for our health plan clients primarily through a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) procurement process, a market check process and/or an established consulting agreement. Experience in PBM request for proposal (RFP) selection process and a strong client-focused background is critical for this role. The Vice President Pharmacy Consultant will:Partner closely with business development associates to provide subject matter expertise and developing strategies and content for proposals, request for consulting proposals and statements of work.Support and lead health plan consulting and procurement/consulting engagements.Lead and deliver on all aspects of health plan client procurement and consulting engagements, including development of strategy and approach, communications with clients, providing direction to team, and compilation/presentation of results.Define a customized course of action for clients that enables them to proactively reduce risk and improve savings in the most efficient and strategic manner.Lead and facilitate client meetings to ensure alignment between Aon and our clients as well as establish alignment within the health plans with multiple client stakeholders.Develop, maintain and strategically use positive relationships with PBM vendors and/or third parties.Demonstrate deep personal and institutional knowledge of the competitive PBM landscape to analyze and interpret market and industry trendsServe as a pharmacy benefit subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients.Deliver solutions that exceed the expectations of our clients.Demonstrate a deep understanding of current and potential client needs to create and implement a plan that includes compelling value-added services.Drive and get results for key accounts and manage those relationships for growth and retention.Create market-facing subject matter & thought leadership.Knowledge/skills/requirements5 years of relevant Pharmacy Benefit Consulting, PBM, or Health Plan experience.Deep knowledge of PBM procurement, specialty pharmacy, PBM pricing and contracting.Viewed as an industry leader with expertise in pharmacy benefits and/or Medicare/Medicaid compliance.Exceptional project management, written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and clients with dynamic and shifting timelines.Demonstrated ability to handle client and vendor relationships.Strong leadership skills with experience collaborating within teams to produce results.Proven ability to work in a multifaceted, fast paced environment.Ability to travel periodically around 10%-20%.Education:Bachelors degree in a relevant area of study, pharmacy degree a plus.We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The salary range for this position is $165,000- $175,000 annually. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
