Job Description:

This role - IT Technical Consultant - will serve as the product owner of the Diebold EPS platform for all the retail sites in the US Vantage solution landscape.


Build and maintain use cases around the EPS and communicate them effectively to build consensus and co-ordination of schedules with project managers, engineers and designers to deliver high-quality payment/loyalty product features
Continually engage with people throughout the business to understand operations, surface issues and opportunities, and evolve early stage ideas into future growth opportunities
Partner with other teams in building project teams, defining requirements, developing plans to implement them, and delivering high value projects
Usher projects through the entire project lifecycle, including measuring success
Understand, work efficiently and communicate effectively within a complex organization with multiple stakeholders
Advise on road mapping our asset integrity plans by working closely with major vendors
Keep all team members coordinated on project goals, progress, and schedules
Leads the analysis, planning, design, and evaluation of key projects to help departments achieve their goals
Supports in development of projects’ work plans / schedules, deliverables and meetings
Liaise between the business, IT, and project manager, when applicable, to provide guidance and information
Interact with and manage software suppliers, designers and developers to understand software limitations, deliver elements of system and database design, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled
Understand and stay abreast of relevant architectures and technologies related to a business area. Research potential solutions and innovative ideas. Guide and manage interactions with technology vendors.

Requirements:


Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor’s Degree related to IT, or equivalent in business, computer science or engineering
Minimum five (5) years of related experience with technology interface, downstream retail, and payment integration
Experience working in a US card-present payment products environment for a payment gateway or payments service provider
Understanding of the Retail business environment and associated business processes, site operations and application landscape (fuel and convenience retail product management and inventory, fuels pricing, file polling, payments and loyalty)
Ability to effectively manage our key vendors and suppliers – i.e. NCR, Verifone, Wayne, GVR etc.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of payments acceptance technologies (EMV, NFC), payment security standards (P2PE, PCI) and the US payment markets
Experience in delivering and supporting Retail business applications
Strong analytical aptitude, be able to analyze complex/ambiguous requirements and be able to identify and drive value for the business
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to create and deliver presentations
Demonstrated cross functional knowledge of the Network applications and payments industry
Self-motivated, demonstrated ability to lead teams independently with minimal direct supervision
Experience in providing oversight of identification and resolution of an issue
Ability to manage multiple projects and the ability to identify risks and create mitigation plans
