The Director North America Supply Strategy is a key member of PVH’s North America Supply team, reporting to the VP, North America Supply Strategy. As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for PVH Supply that are aligned with PVH’s vision and strategic priorities. The role encompasses strategy development, project management, and communications.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Strategy Development
Author and lead multiple high visibility projects for PVH Supply by establishing a clear vision, directing resources, influencing diverse stakeholders and communicating progress and challenges
Identify opportunities, inter-dependencies, points of leverage, and best practices across business units; create forum for sharing and alignment on priorities & learnings
Serve as a critical thought partner to our senior/executive leaders; exploring complex business issues
Influence and liaise across PVH to create partnerships, drive alignment, and achieve results
Project Management
Lead methodical processes; analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options, then proposing and acting on a course of action
Manage the coordination and the corresponding communication for key programs & projects across business units and functional teams
Manage portfolio of North America Supply projects; driving standardization, simplification, tool development, and reporting
Communication
Effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences through superior storytelling and strong data visualization skills
Communicate progress against initiatives and strategies to multiple levels and functional areas to gain support and influence action
Lead and facilitate weekly and monthly leadership meetings to establish priorities and set goals for the North America Supply organization
Deliver business and market insights to support decision-making
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in leading sophisticated strategic projects and working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, provide project management expertise, and to lead multiple projects at once
Proven track record of pulling together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussions; strong leadership presence
Proficiency in business communication tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and verbal/written communication to promote conceptual understanding and catalyze action through storytelling
Ability to quickly build credibility; demonstrated leadership managing or influencing people
Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments
Experience working directly with senior level executives
EDUCATION:
8+ years of proven experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, business development, investment banking or a related field
Or 6+ years of experience (2+ years’ experience post-MBA) is required with an MBA/Master’s degree
Or 10+ years total, relevant experience is required in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
SKILLS:
Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages
Strategic, operational, and analytical skills
Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships in a cross-functional context
Strong in business strategy and project management execution
Confident, compelling communicator with developed presentation skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
