Current Need We are currently adding a Technical Consultant - Paragon to our team in the Charlotte, NC office. This role Project Manages and schedules his or her own activities. Plans and conducts technical tasks associated with the implementation of solution sets working with clients and internal resources at the client site or remotely. Project manages the technical tasks associated with the implementation of the business solutions in complex environments assuring the timely and quality completion of the deliverables. Partners with clients in planning and executing technical tasks such as SQL Healthchecks, SQL Upgrades and Windows Upgrades as well as Hardware upgrades as a for fee service. Mentors and provides technical assistance to client and internal resources. May lead multiple technical projects simultaneously and is the main point of contact for the client during this time. Provides recommendations on the process improvements related to implementation processes and leads the efforts to create improvements. Partners with clients in planning, executing technical tasks such as conversions, interfaces, integration, issue resolution, assessment of system environment readiness, installation. Mentors and provides technical assistance to client and internal resources. May lead multiple technical projects simultaneously and is the main point of contact for a client. Provides recommendations on the process improvements related to implementation processes and leads the efforts to create improvements. Minimum Requirements 8 years of implementation experience of information systems including 5 years of healthcare industry related experience. Experience with multiple programming languages, hardware installation, Network installation, Operating System knowledge, Client/Server environment, Object oriented concepts and Database Management knowledge. Additional Knowledge & Skills Practical experience with, Hardware installation and upgrades, Network installation, Operating System installs and upgrades, Client/Server environment, Object oriented concepts and Database Management knowledge.
2 yrs experience with SQL performing Healthcheck & upgrades. Experience with hospital financial and clinical systems. Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to work with hospital executives, management and technical personnel.
Must be able to travel up to 80%
Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Mathematics or equivalent experience.
Information Services Management degree may be preferred.
Certifications/Licensure Certifications/Licensure - Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) (Optional) -
MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008 (Optional) -
MCITP: SQL Database Administrator 2008 (Required) -
Microsoft Certified Trainer MCT (Optional)
