As well as helping organisations in the development of global/cross-border solutions which meet the needs of both local and headquarter management in the design, establishment, financing, operation, oversight and monitoring of their compensation and benefit programs, we help organisations evaluate the strategic rationale, candidates and risk for potential merger and acquisition activity. In doing so, we work closely with our local offices in other geographies, as well as subject matter experts in other segments.

• Financial, cost and risk control solutions for employee benefit plans, and merger/acquisition activity, globally

• Global health care solutions and wellness strategies

• Multinational pooling and captive solutions

• Accounting consolidation for employee benefit plans globally

• Valuation of pension arrangements outside the US for accounting purposes

• Evaluation of candidates for potential merger or acquisition activity

• Global oversight and governance procedures

• Due Diligence and Integration support for cross-border mergers, acquisitions and divestitures

• Expansion into new territories

• Country HR legislative updates

• Advice on internationally mobile employees

• Advice for countries where Willis Towers Watson doesn’t have an office

The Role

Based in Dubai, within the Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEEMEA) GSS team, you will act as the day-to-day client contact and relationship manager for multinational clients, typically at the regional or global HQ level. Able to provide updates on local country and regional activities, proactively identifying and acting upon opportunities and issues to manage and profitably grow the client relationship.

• Provide proactive advice around the opportunities to optimize the way benefits are managed regionally and globally

• Keep abreast of changes in legislation, market practice etc, to identify issues that clients should be addressing.

• Support the use of Willis Towers Watson technology and tools

• Identify opportunities for cross-selling other consulting services offered by Willis Towers Watson:

• Coordinating local /regional consulting and local / regional broking services.

• Work with the Global Benefits Center (GBC) to update to benefits inventory tool or databases.

• Effectively manage projects to deliver a successful project across all countries;

• Ensure local broker mandates and statements of work are in place;

• Engage in dialogue with in-country consultants/brokers to ensure local issues are resolved;

• Participate in calls both internally and with the client to communicate progress and resolve outstanding matters;

• Review local broker reports and other communications to ensure consistency;

• Deal with issues that arise, escalating as appropriate;

• Ensure that the wider Global client team is kept appraised of issues;

• Develop regional stewardship reports

• Support and lead new business development opportunities and marketing initiatives

Preferred requirements are:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a program with numeric or business emphasis

• At least 3 years of hands on experience in employee benefits, regional and global benefits experience is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, advanced level Excel and PowerPoint), ability to use to manipulate and analyze data, and present complex / technical information and concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects, working with tight deadlines and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget

• Collaboration with a global team, including taking accountability for quality on-time delivery of work

• Excellent, clear and concise, written and verbal communication skills, in English and ideally Arabic

• Self-motivation and the ability to work within ambiguity, and effectively in teams, including remotely with colleagues in other countries.

• A proactive approach to working with clients. Proven track record of successful multinational client relationship management and development with regional / global decision makers.

• A keen desire to learn, and the ability to deal positively with change
