THE CAREER YOU WANT

This role is for someone who has a passion for brand, communications and employee culture. Someone who stays on top of trends and best practices and proactively puts them into action. The Senior Consultant, Communications, will have the opportunity to lead The Source's brand transformation through PR and internal communications. This includes the creation of an internal communications platform that celebrates The Source's culture and passion for tech, as well as leading all PR campaigns and activity.

 

This is a highly visible role. You will be the voice of the brand internally, collaborating with business units to celebrate our brand across all channels internally, and in PR. We are searching for a leader with vision, strong project management skills, who is not afraid to put themselves out there and try new things!

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

*Develop and execute a PR strategy

*Product demos, third party syndication of tech news *Work with Bell PR team to respond to press inquiries *Support customer care in the development of on-brand key messages and responses to customer / social media inquiries *Leverage a team of Tech Advocates to secure PR / on-air opportunities to bring to life our passion for tech: demonstrate new products and how they work best when powered by the best network

*Develop and execute an internal marketing strategy

*Develop tactics to celebrate brand proof points across the entire organization *Liaise with HR / communications team to celebrate brand milestones, product news, etc. *In conjunction with internal partners, rebrand associate touchpoints (ex. employee onboarding journeys, portals, etc.) *Produce content that can be used internally to inspire and educate associates on tech *Produce content that can be used externally to celebrate our team and internal culture

*Support ERG campaigns (especially expanding Kids Help Phone support) throughout the year *Support brand marketing campaigns as needed, partner with brand to elevate internal activities on social media *Stay on top of competitor activity and industry best practices for PR and internal communications *Manage the assigned campaign budgets  
 

SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

*Big picture thinker who can dive into the details *Good understanding of marketing communications, public relations and brand marketing *Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build, influencer and socialize plans with executive and cross functional audiences *Strong relationship builder, ability to quickly expand network and inspire, internally and externally *Knowledge of subscription services. We believe tech is more powerful on the right network *Passion for tech, so it translates into campaigns and internal communications *Self starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast pased environment *Strong project management skills with a history of bringing new programs to life
 

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES:

*Bachelor's degree and at least 5+ years experience in marketing communications *Previous managerial experience *Previous experience in PR and/or internal communications *Previous experience leading and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders *Previous experience in retail and/or telecommunications *Strong preference for a candidate who is bilingual (English & French)
