Job Description
Infosys is seeking Telecom OSS/BSS/BA Sr. consultant.
As a Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the Telecom Domain consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting in Telecom Space; you will define the problem, propose and create the best-fit solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology and Telecom projects (Wireline & Wireless – Wholesale and Enterprise Segments)
Candidate must be located within commuting distance Denver, CO or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project location.
At least 4 years of experience in ONE or MORE of the following areas:
Service Fulfilment (Order Management, Order Fulfilment, Work Flow Management, Order Orchestration, Inventory Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Product Catalogue Modelling, Config & Order activation)
Service Assurance-Practive, Reactive, Predictive (Network Performance Management, Network Report Management, Alarm Management, Trouble Ticket Management, Problem Management, Fault Management, SLA Management, Security Management)
Field Force Management (WFM)
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in Telecom Domain process consulting, problem definition, Architecture, design and detailing of processes.
Experience on working with either B2C or B2B Telecom operators
OSS/BSS knowledge is strongly preferred
Experience in integrating OSS/BSS systems
Analytical Abilities, a goal-oriented work approach, high quality awareness, good team player
Knowledge or hands on experience of one of the COTS packages – ServiceNow, BMC Remedy/ TrueSight, Amdocs, Ericsson OSS systems, NetCracker, SeVone etc.
Must be able to communicate complex ideas with both customers and peers in written and oral form.
Leading key Functional and Design meetings with stakeholders, architecture team.
Good Communication & Client- interfacing skills, cross-cultural working experience and should be able to work with multinational clients independently
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Extension travel may be required as per the job requirements.
