**A Day in the Life**
At our Digital Surgery Commercial Department in Medtronic, plc, we focus on commercializing and implementing our recently launched Touch Surgery Enterprise solution. The Director of Education and Channel Activation is directly involved in developing and launching the training needed to ensure that our MDT sales channels can sell effectively our solution and that our customers can use it easily.

**A Day in the Life**
Become an expert in our Touch Surgery Enterprise and DS1 technologies. Establish strong collaborations with our product, engineering, and implementation teams.
Develop a best-in-class training content and program.
Train and educate the new hires of the commercial team on our TSE & DS1 technologies
Create content and execute plans to train our clients in the use of TSE & DS1 technologies.
Execute and roll out our training plan with the goal of certifying a significant % of the salesforces of our target channels (SI, SR, EA, GI to start with)
Establish a solid governance and communication plan with our partner channels and monitor performance regularly.
Ensure DS marketing materials are adapted to each MDT OU sales channel
Establish mechanisms to enable cross collaboration (business models, contracting mechanisms, marketing collaterals, sales incentives) across MDT OUs
Monitor the execution of our multi-channel sales strategy
Identify opportunities for improvement with our existing channels and craft strategies to leverage additional MDT salesforces
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers.
Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives.
Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training.
May utilize trainers with technical expertise.
Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
Bachelors degree required
Requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant training and education experience along with experience in development of curriculum, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
**Nice to Have**
Strong training background of software in a medtech / healthcare environment with emphasis of developing taining materials
Ability to translate complex software solutions into commercial opportunities
Understanding of the solution and saas sale cycle
Experience and proven results of developing training programs for commercial teams
