SHELL IS RECRUITING SEVERAL OD CONSULTANTS. PREFERRED WORK LOCATIONS ARE THE HAGUE (NL) AND HOUSTON (US). ADDITIONALLY LONDON (UK) COULD BE THE WORK LOCATION.

WHERE YOU FIT IN
The new OD Consulting organisation will hold a central and flexible pool of Organisation Development (OD), Leadership and Project Management Office (PMO) resources which will be allocated to strategic change projects across Royal Dutch Shell (RDS) as well as hold the content expertise for Team Development and Leadership consulting (e.g., for Asset Management System (AMS), Safety Refresh) and interventions at senior levels such as Senior Executive Forum, Performance Unit Reviewer Meetings.
WHAT IS THE ROLE
The Organisation Development (OD) Consultant is a senior expert position within the OD consulting pool. The primary focus of the role is to frame, diagnose and address complex organisational challenges that often go across multiple RDS businesses, in order to structurally improve organisational health and performance, using deep OD and change skills and experience and apply RDS OD methods and tools. This role requires the ability to both deliver high quality change outcomes through personal intervention and lead OD project teams to deliver scaled change programmes.
The type of project and work performed by the OD Consultant include:
Full system diagnostics
Executive Leadership team effectiveness
Operating model and organisation design
Complex change orchestration
Culture and behavioural change
Organisational health and performance improvement
Organisational capability development
Other accountabilities include: actively contribute to OD’s collective capability development, knowledge-sharing, and thought leadership through participation in OD Communities of Practice.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You will be an experienced and inspirational team leader with extensive OD experience. You will have a track record of successfully delivering complex OD projects and be passionate about sharing this experience through coaching and developing others.
Additionally, you will have:
A comprehensive knowledge of the different OD domains
Extensive professional experience of delivering OD initiatives in complex, international, matrix organizations
Strategic mindset and the ability to partner with senior business leaders at the highest level of the organisation on their critical OD challenges
Strong project management background and be able to lead large complex change projects
Ability to diagnose business/organisation change issues and to identify appropriate type of intervention.
Excellent consulting, communication and stakeholder relationship skills
You bring a Learner Mindset, a curiosity to learn and grow, learn from mistakes, successes and speak up openly in a safe environment.
The role requires an exceptional collaborator who can work with colleagues across the business and HR to deliver holistic interventions for the business.
