You Are:A seasoned practitioner with a passion for solving complex problems at the intersection of global commodities, businesses, and technology. You have experience in commodities trading within the oil and gas or utilities industry, and youre hungry to deepen your industry expertise. A strong communicator motivated to co-create solutions with clients, youre skilled at adapting to different clients styles and cultures to build trusted relationships. And to top it all off, youre proud to be personally accountable for your teams success and ongoing development.
The Work:
Run delivery of projects to get the lay of the land of clients position in the Energy Industry to find clients business options in the context of global, economic, technology, and social trends.
Head up teams to deliver world-class business solutions that meet the needs of clients.
Earn the trust of senior leaders at client organizations and partner with them to create functional solutions at the intersection of business, technology, and operations.
Provide overall guidance on quantitative analysis and research to generate recommendations and insights and drive outcomes
Build relationships with clients to sustain Accentures profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
Fortify Accentures Industry Consulting practice and role as a thought leader by creating content and taking part in professional forums, both internal and external.
Mentor junior consulting team members and groom them for more responsibility.
Create and deliver presentations of recommendations to client executives.
The ability to engage with clients about opportunities for commercial optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement.
Manage the gathering of functional requirements and create functional design deliverables.
Ensure effective system configuration, test planning, and execution activities.
Assemble, manage, and translate large datasets.
Travel: For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. Heres What You Need:
Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience in related field/industry
Minimum of 8 years functional experience in consulting and/or industry (Energy, Natural Resources) as a trusted client advisor
Minimum 8 years of experience with industry analytics and quantitative skills, must be an analytical thinker
Bonus Points If:
MBA/Master's degree
Youve worked with a top-tier consulting firm.
You have six or more years of in-depth experience with crude markets, downstream energy, and value chains.
Powerful interpersonal skills that allow you to communicate effectively with everyone from your team members, clients of all levels to vendors and third-party providers.
You have professional experience in ET&S (Energy Transition & Sustainability)
