Contractor and/or Contractor's staff will assist DEO with the following hourly IT Staff Augmentation Services, also known as nonprojectoriented IT personnel resources: Developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications;
Testing plans, writing test cases/scripts, testing case automation, and executing tests;
Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test statuses;
Collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrating them into business processes to address the business needs;
Documenting all problems and assisting in their resolution;
Delivering quality process training to technical staff and acting as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners
Performing quality audits across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.
Quality Engineering Consultant:
Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Contractor and/or Contractor's Staff assigned to this contract shall have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience;
A minimum of seven (7) years of IT and business experience, with at least five (5) years in Quality Assurance;
A minimum of two (2) years of audit or assessment or other relevant experience;
Ability to provide strategic direction, guidance, and integrated solutions to enterprisewide, quality engineering initiatives;
Ability to work on multiple projects as a project leader or as the subject matter expert;
Ability to work on projects/issues of high complexity that require indepth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments;
Ability to coach and mentor more junior technical staff.
