We have an exciting opportunity for an enterprising consultant to support a Global Group President, Leader of Professional Services and a Division Solutions Director from our New York City Office. This role will have a voice in helping streamline data and tell the story that will lead to strategic decisions for our teams and clients. and create compelling presentations to the Board and our clients.

The Ideal candidate will have:
5-10 years of experience with undergraduate and potentially graduate degrees (not required)
Strong communication skills including writing, speaking and ability to convey complex concepts in a concise and clear manner using Word, PowerPoint, Executive Memos and other formats
Proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to independently construct new frameworks and models, adapting quickly to feedback and comments
Ability to source and synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to produce a complete analysis and/or recommendation
Ability to understand, review, generate, and design executive-level reports
Ability to conceptualize models adapted from other industries to the real estate services world
Strong organizational skills; ability to drive projects from insight to action, engaging multiple stakeholders as appropriate
Creativity in terms of understanding the end user client and how potential business partnerships could change the game for client engagement and outcomes
Strong research experience, with creativity and resourcefulness to find information quickly and efficiently (e.g. research on companies, supply chain, competitors, adjacent industries)
A strong understanding of our services and the market structure within which we operate
Ability to look deeply into the various businesses of CBRE and develop thesis for where disruption might occur, and how partnering around a solution can improve our go-to-market and thus prevent risk of disruption
Ability to independently and effectively engage clients, M&A firms, consulting firms, industry consultants, internal CBRE colleagues and other subject matter experts to inform CBRE points of view and approaches
Desire to take on broader leadership positions within GWS Account Management, Sales and Client Solutions or CBRE overall
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Masters degree or MBA preferred. Minimum 5 years of related experience.


CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Real Estate license, as required by the State.
Professional certification, professional designations (e.g. BCCR, CCIM, CPM, MAI) and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate is desirable.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.


REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products. Knowledge of real estate-specific software solutions like Tririga, Manhattan CenterStone, Siterra Plus, or Argus is a plus.

Knowledge of advanced graphic/information design programs (e.g., InDesign, Visio); Strong work ethic; willingness to go the extra mile in support of the client.
