The Business Continuity Consultant applies a broad range of knowledge, skills, and experiences within the Business Continuity domain to determine and accomplish business continuity and crisis management objectives for the North America Region. Through the review, construction, testing, and implementation of crisis response and business continuation plans, this role supports the company's efforts to protect its associates, customers, and revenue streams by providing a recovery process for the company's critical business functions in the event of a disaster.
This position will partner with all areas of the company on business continuity and crisis management program strategies interacting with all levels of leadership.

Business Continuity Consultant Duties & Responsibilities
Design, implement and improve cross-functional programs that enable critical business functions and systems recovery.
Schedule and coordinate recovery exercises for systems, communications, and tabletop simulations for the entire business organization to include development and implementation of all procedures
Support the delivery of Business Continuity implementation programs covering all aspects of the business continuity and resilience lifecycle, including business impact analysis, business continuity planning, training/ awareness activities, and simulations
Perform risk assessments, propose mitigation measures and assist in writing policies, procedures, frameworks of control, and other information security-related documents
Execute against internal procedures
Must have advanced skills and knowledge in the business continuity discipline involving the integration of theory and principles with organizational practices and procedures
Identifies responsibilities for contingency planning related to systems, infrastructure, and other business areas
Supports planning for critical systems recovery prioritization through logical process mapping and business concurrence
Researches and implements strategies and procedures for the effective response to incidents and the resumption of critical business operations

Comprehensive review report of existing systems and setup and recommendations for improvement

Comprehensive Operational Department Continuity Plan and Crisis Management Plan
Review of infrastructure reinforcement

Business Continuity Consultant Qualifications
6 years of Business Continuity and Crisis Management domain experience, emergency management, or risk management experience
Knowledge and application of Business Continuity professional practices: Risk Evaluation and Control, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Strategies, Emergency Response and Operations, Business Continuity Plans, Awareness and training programs, Business Continuity Plan exercises, Audit and maintenance, and Crisis Communications
Ability to lead, plan and support exercises and meetings with stakeholders
Experience leading crisis response and business continuation methodologies to businesses.
Strong organizational and project management skills, including handling multiple projects and prioritizing many concurrent tasks
Experience with Business Continuity tools
Excellent communication skills to work effectively at all levels.
Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking to ensure solutions, response, and recovery strategies are effective and efficient
