Life and Disability Consultant We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Life and Disability Consultant supporting Aon’s Time Away and Life Solutions (TALS) Practice. Preferred Locations (Philadelphia, PA or Somerset, NJ) in the United States. Virtual locations may be considered but position will be a combination of in-office and remote. What the day will look likeProvide Life and Disability subject matter expertise to Aon clients with 5,000 livesResponsible for Life and Disability projects including plan design review and benchmarking analyses, renewal and experience reviewsResponsible for Paid Time Off (PTO, Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Parental Leave, Caregiver, etc. and other company sponsored leave, projects and analysis, benchmarking and industry trend analysis)Support the Life and Disability RFP process, including RFP development and analysis of resultsConduct negotiation with vendors during renewals and RFPsSupport complex implementations for all new National Account Life and Disability clients and ensure vendor is held accountable for all terms agreed to during marketing processReview and provide clients with guidance on all life and disability policy documents and performance guaranteesParticipate in other team initiatives including, but not limited to:Coordination between Structured Portfolio Solutions and other Time Away and Life Solutions (TALS) areasCarrier relationship activitiesInnovation and product development Skills and experience that will lead to success Self-motivator with a high level of analytical thinking and the ability to make decisions based on sound business logicStrong project management skills, with ability to independently own projectsStrong organization skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to managed detailed analysesPrevious experience building vendor relationships, especially with Life and Disability national carriersStrong work ethic, strong project manager skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ability to own and independently manage projects, excellent organizational skills, experience negotiating with vendor partners, investigation and research, and excellent communication skillsAbility to travel up to 15%Health and Life License will be required upon hiring Education: 3-5 years of life and disability underwriting experience (carrier or consulting) or claims and operations or implementation experienceBachelor’s Degree How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. Salary range for the position The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,000 to $115,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
