Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
The Buy Desk Specialist is responsible for managing and administering a range of Request for Proposal RFP initiatives, including but not limited to tracking of system bugs, reporting, and procure to pay services.Key Responsibilities:
Work with all phases of the procurement process including sourcing activities, negotiation, and strategic selection of goods and services
Execute Buy Desk responsibilities and manage a team of Buy Desk analysts in delivering general procurement and sourcing related functions
Responsible for troubleshooting system issues, reporting, participating in SOW development, and leading Desk Top Procedure DTP documentation exercises
Serve as an escalation point to resolve issues and manage issues to resolution
Communicate company goals, team metrics, and best practices
Responsible for ensuring the team s SLA metrics are met
Coach team members, resolve conflicts, and organize team initiatives

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain
Minimum 1 year of Team Lead experience
Minimum 3 years of Procure to Pay process experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with communications and people management
Experience working with a large technology company
Experience working with contracts and agreements
Experience working in the RFx process
Basic computer knowledge of MS Office, including Excel V LOOKUP
Professional Skill Requirements
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Accurate, efficient, and organized within daily responsibilities
Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills
Eagerness to contribute to a team oriented environment
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment
Desire to work in an information systems environment
Good written oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop, implement, and assess performance metrics
