Profile

The healthcare consultant will perform the following responsibilities:
Conduct analysis of health plan and provider functional areas to identify impacts, opportunities and risks related to the implementation of ICD-10, create high quality client deliverables based on project tasks completed, Interact with clients to complete project tasks, work collaboratively with other project team members to develop creative solutions,
probe client contacts to obtain data required to complete project tasks and Deliverables, develop effective client relationships, manage scope of activities to those defined in the project charter, maintain current knowledge of industry trends related to ICD-10 and contribute to development of assets, tools and solutions for the FM ICD-10 practice.

Required
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 1 year experience in Health Plan Operations (Claims, Benefit Configuration).
* At least 1 year experience in Efficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Basic knowledge in ICD10 and/or ICD 9 Codeset.
* Readiness to travel 75% travel annually
* U.S. citizenship required
* English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
* At least 3 years experience in Health Plan Operations (Claims, Benefit Configuration).
* Basic knowledge in Provider Reimbursement methodologies.
* Basic knowledge in Provider or Health Plan experience with Health Management Programs (Disease Management, Care Management, Utilization Management, Wellness Programs).
* Basic knowledge in CMS Medicare Advantage regulations.
* At least 3 years experience in Efficiency with Microsoft Office.
* At least 6 months experience in ICD10 and/or ICD 9 Codeset.
* Basic knowledge in CMS Medicaid regulations.
* Basic knowledge in Access Database.
* Basic knowledge in AHIMA certified coder.
* English : Intermediate
NOTE: This role can be located in any large metropolitan US City.
