Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture - the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
The Corporate FP&A Team Lead / Associate Manager is a role that is able to analyze, interpret, and present complex financial information in a manner that supports executive decision-making and drives client financial and operational performance. They will have experience conducting operational as well as competitive market analysis with the ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for senior management. This role will also assist with the review and analysis of P&L results and KPI metrics to understand and convey key forecast drivers to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Track and communicate progress against key financial metrics and operational targets for the clients short term and long term incentive plans
Support continuous benchmarking of client financial results against analyst estimates
Assist in the development of an integrated long-term strategic planning process that will enhance corporate FP&As future state capabilities and functionality
Development of presentation materials in direct support of the clients CFO and executive members
Communicate with key business partners such as Investor Relations and Human Resources to develop internal and external reporting metrics
Perform ad hoc financial analysis in support of strategic (e.g., M&A) and operational (Life & Retirement separation) initiatives
Locations
Knoxville, TN is highly preferred.
Other locations include Nashville-TN, Charlotte-NC, Raleigh-NC, Atlanta-GA
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: insurance, financial services, or finance & accounting
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a major in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Actuarial, Engineering, Economics or other), advanced degree preferred
Experience in the financial and/or P&C insurance industry
Previous investment banking or consulting experience
Experience developing detailed financial models / analysis
Experience developing executive level presentation materials
Proficiency with FactSet and/or S&P Capital IQ
Professional Skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to integrate qualitative information with quantitative analysis and succeed with time, resource and information constraints
Highly motivated, attention to details, strong quantitative and analytic skills
Self-starter, and a team player with ability to communicate with teams with various backgrounds
