SAP BPC Planning Senior Consultant

Profile

The SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Senior Consultant will be responsible for successful delivery of functional and technical components of SAP business planning solutions including: Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 5.1/7.0 - formerly Outlooksoft), and/or other formal business planning solution such as Cognos, Hyperion, SAP I/P. This role will apply functional and technical knowledge of these tools and business planning processes, and use formal system implementation methodologies during requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment. Responsibilities include using knowledge of leading practices within the business planning cycles, including Strategic Planning, Annual budgeting, and periodic projection processes. Experience in integrated S&OP planning scenarios is a plus.
Preferred candidates will understand and have experience with planning/forecasting tools including SAP BPC (OutlookSoft) Planning, Cognos, Hyperion Planning, BI-IP).
Business Process & Functional experience will include:
Integration of BPC with accounting and finance processes and organizations
Business unit planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience
Extensive process design / modeling experience
Project lead experience
working with business team to interpret requirements
familiar with best practices in planning & performance management
System administration design, including month end and annual planning calendar procedures
SOX compliance in BPC
Security design
User mapping
Control design and statements creation
Understanding of BPC system design principles, including:
Application design (structure and dimensionality)
BPC hierarchies
BPC properties
Create / deliver training
Integrate Planning and Consolidation process design
Report design and development concepts

Build / design complex input schedules and reports
Experience with Cognos, Hyperion or other business planning software packages is preferred. MBA is strongly desired along with previous financial planning and analysis experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to interact with senior managers and executives of client companies and a proven track record designing and implementing change in complex businesses. The candidate must be a team player as well as be able to work independently.

* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 3 years experience in Consolidations and Financial Reporting Process knowledge.
* Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
* English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
