The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.
Strategy Consultant 4 – Risk COO Strategic Initiative Execution Lead
The Risk COO Strategic Initiative Execution Lead will manage the execution of Strategic Initiatives across Corporate Risk partnering with Senior Leaders in all Independent Risk Management (IRM) teams. The strategic work aligns with our Corporate Risk Performance Objectives to Optimize Risk Management Processes and Effectiveness and Execute with Operational Discipline and Efficiency. The strategy work will focus on implementing Enterprise wide projects for Corporate Risk including Location Strategy and Risk Organizational Effectiveness projects. Other projects include building out key Business Management functions across Corporate Risk to increase efficiency and effectiveness while reducing duplication. The team member will provide centralized management coordination across the Risk COO Leaders to identify opportunities to align to strategic projects and insure all project elements are completed properly and in a timely manner to maximize efficiency and capture cost savings.
The person selected for this role will:
Design and manage critical project data elements, the delivery of complex project materials to the IRM teams and will partner with the IRM teams to ensure effective implementation of Strategic Projects.
Focus on strategic work that will include Risk Co-Location Strategy, Risk Organizational Efficiency and implementing a Hub and Spoke Risk Business Management Model
Lead project elements and manage through influence as an individual contributor to a high performing team
Act as a Player/Coach, providing leadership direction to other project team members
Report to the Corporate Risk COO-Planning Development and Administration Leader

Required Qualifications:
8 years of strategic planning experience
