**A Day in the Life**
Functional Excellence Programme Manager APAC Customer Care & Supply Chain
Responsible for driving Customer Care and Supply Chain Functional Excellence programme in APAC with the objective to improve customer and employee experience, and drive efficiencies through optimisation of process, technology, operating model and organisation. Key pillars of accountability:
Simplification: Identification of opportunities to improve employee and customer experience through simplification, standardization and improvement of core supply chain processes.
Automation and digitization: Implement tools and technology to transform manual and paper based processes to drive higher levels of efficiency. Identify opportunities to digitize processes and make step change in process automation.
Operating Models: Develop and deploy differentiated service and operating models, including assessment of centralization opportunities to leverage scale and efficiency opportunities
**Key Responsibilities:**
Overall programme/value stream lead to manage linkages and dependencies between supply chain workstream and projects in other functional areas, eg. OU/Commercial, Finance, IT and Commercial Excellence
Hands-on delivery of key projects within Functional Excellence strategy
Provide direction, coaching and subject matter expertise to other supply chain project leaders within the programme to ensure overall success
A key element will be to drive OTC (Offer To Cash) programme and leading one value stream by using lean methodology of continuous improvement, all project management tools, MOS principles, and lean Sigma tools.
Accountable for the overall performance of the value stream. Ensures reports are available to track performance against KPIs and drives improvement planning as needed.
Responsible to simplify processes, systems and policies within the Value Stream. Whenever possible, builds business cases and tracks benefits.
Facilitates a culture of cross functional / business collaboration through the matrix, making sure value stream members are aware of their role and impact on their role and impact in the E2E process. Bridges connections from one value stream to another and works together in the spirit of network of teams embracing a free flow of information and feedback. Ensures alignment and collaboration with other value streams to ensure E2E optimization across Value Streams. Makes sure new ideas are accessed, developed and adopted.
Identifies, in conjunction with leadership, direction and approach of Functional Excellence strategy, including identification of new opportunities to drive value within APAC Customer Care & Supply Chain organisation
Work closely with functional leaders to understand how work is done and evaluate need for change to existing models to meet business objectives at the lowest possible cost and required level of quality and service
Regularly evaluates progress and success with the team. Communicates status update and progress to the key-stakeholders.
Organize and facilitate cross-functional program teams, and identifies and drives tactical activities to keep programme on track
Identifies and works to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful completion of projects and portfolios assigned to. Enlists leadership actively and as needed to assist with barriers.
Communicate and manage engagement with internal and external project stakeholders with regular cadence through a variety of mediums, including presentations, email and stretches on program status and performance. Ensures that stakeholders have up-to-date information needed for their particular function in a timely manner.
Creates and maintains excellent working relationships within the teams assigned, and across Medtronic functions and departments. Acts as a liaison between Supply Chain and other Medtronic organizations, and advocates on behalf of APAC Region and APAC Supply Chain and its strategies as needed
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
**Your vaccination status shall be collected during the interview and selection process referencing and in line with the Safe Management Measures at the workplace stipulated by the Ministry of Manpower.**
**Your Profile**
Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Operations and / or Business Management e.g. MBA
5 years consulting experience in supply chain and / or strategy service line
10 years experience in supply chain domain within multinational, matrix environment
Lean Sigma Black Belt qualified
Preferred 5 years experience in medical device
Fluent in English
Ability to lead cross-functional resources in a multicultural matrix environment
Experience in demand planning, distribution operations/logistics with demonstrable knowledge of advanced practices in Supply chain and inventory planning
Based in Singapore with 25% travel
