As a Sales Operations Consultant at edX, you’ll be a key part of a dynamic sales operations team that helps the edX organization change the world through increased access to education. You will be responsible for helping to transform the development and careers of millions of people by shaping business operations and helping to deliver excellent process outcomes.
Sales Operations Consultants are critical members of edX’s Enterprise Sales team, working to run and improve our day-to-day business processes and drive revenue results at scale. This multifaceted, cross-functional role demands a process-oriented operator with a track record of perceiving, measuring, and designing solutions to problems. You will be seen as the hub and conduit of our internal business teams. You will have plenty of opportunities to develop and demonstrate your collaboration, problem-solving, and make a truly meaningful, positive impact on the lives of our colleagues and customers.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Execute and suggest improvements to multiple Enterprise Sales business processes
Develop meaningful relationships and collaborate with edX’s Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Information Technology, Legal, Finance, and Product Delivery teams
Deliver operational projects that affect revenue outcomes at scale, across all of our sales teams
Ensure that Enterprise Sales revenue is accurately recorded, tracked, and measured
Perceive opportunities for improvement in our day-to-day operations, becoming a trusted resource for our business teams
Design, build, document, and measure new business processes and their outcomes to drive operational excellence and revenue growth
Leverage conceptual problem-solving skills and internal resources to shape solutions to business challenges
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
A Team Player Mindset: Collaborate with colleagues having different levels of knowledge and skills, from different backgrounds - Sales Representatives, Success Associates, Product Managers, and Solutions Architects.
A Start-Up Mentality: Work collaboratively on a small team in a high growth environment. Experience wearing different hats and rotating through additional responsibilities outside of your day-to-day responsibilities. Showcase strong initiative and self-motivation; effectively juggle multiple priorities while retaining a sense of urgency.
Conceptual Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to ask questions and navigate ambiguity.
Articulate the impact of a problem and the tradeoffs of possible solutions, and provide input on which path to choose.
Business Acumen and Domain Knowledge: understanding of business drivers and ability to ask good questions. Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: project / process management, operations, business analysis, or sales.
Demonstrated Skill Acquisition: record of ability and drive to acquire and integrate new skills into day-to-day workflow. Highly coachable, and willing to learn.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and business writing skills. Ability to identify when to speak technically for stakeholders, and when to translate to simplest terms for maximum effect.
Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:
Experience with Salesforce (SFDC), Administrator experience highly preferred
Experience with IT-focused business analysis and change management, especially business process engineering and/or diagraming
Experience with quantitative data analysis tools and techniques

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $85,000.00 with potential bonus and equity eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
