The Senior Corporate Strategy Analyst develops the organization's strategic plan(s) to ensure its continued successful growth and profitability. Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. The Senior Corporate Strategy Analyst work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Home Solutions Strategy Senior Analyst Role

Humana's Home Solutions team is looking for high potential recent college graduates looking to accelerate their career development and contribute to driving disruption in the health care industry.

The team is a small, high-performing group that works closely with Humana's senior leadership in setting the strategic direction for the Home Solutions organization, which includes:


Strategy: delivering high-impact business unit strategy projects prioritized by senior leaders that answer questions such as what does success look like, where do we play, and how do we win
Business development: strategically assessing the best path to grow the business and create long-term value (e.g., through organic growth, or by exploring external M&A, joint venture, or partnership opportunities)
Strategy management: helping the organization deliver on its strategic objectives through strategic planning, setting clear goals and metrics aligned to our strategy, and gaining alignment and consensus on that strategy across Humana


In the Home Solutions team, you will identify and analyze exciting new growth opportunities and work with business leaders to prioritize strategic investments and execute strategic transformation. The team has weekly meetings with senior Home leaders and frequently presents strategy and business development updates to the Board of Directors. The senior analyst role is modeled after top-tier management consulting experience. As such, day to day activities will include researching industry trends, high level quantitative analysis and financial modeling, and synthesis of strategic options as input to executive level deliverables and recommendations for Humana's senior leaders and Board.

Role Essentials


Bachelor's degree
2 years of consulting, banking and/or corporate strategy experience OR 5 or more years of experience in strategy and analysis
Exceptional conceptual and analytical problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to perform complex qualitative and quantitative analysis
Commitment to professional and personal growth
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to innovative thought, strategic thinking, and making a difference
Ability to perform and adapt in a rapidly changing and occasionally ambiguous environment
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and complete work with speed and accuracy
Ability to interact with senior leadership internally and externally


Role Desirables


Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Healthcare experience
