Description
Humana is looking for an experienced Strategy Advisor/Consultant to join our Provider Process & Services (PPS) team in Louisville or working remote anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities
The Strategy Consultant provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities within PPS at Humana. This role will provide business intelligence and strategic planning support for PPS in Humana's Consumer & Provider Service & Solutions (CPSS) organization. The consultant will collaborate with Directors within PPS, other Strategy Consultants & Professionals as well as the PPS Culture & Engagement Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Help advise the strategy that will direct the future of our provider services.
Illustrate our organization's vision and strategic direction in a way that communicates our goals in both short-term (1 year) and long-term (3-5 year) planning.
Analyze complex situations and make concise recommendations to senior management.
Create high quality analysis and sections of deliverables that clearly frame objectives, issues, and challenges, and articulate insightful findings and recommendations
Lead initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources
Respond to requests for data and insights from senior leaders to drive collaboration and progress on strategic initiatives
Manage relationships across PPS, CPSS and the Enterprise to attain our common objectives, manage stakeholders, and connect various parts of the business towards a common goal
Utilize data to tell a story to drive actionable insights and recommendations through creative presentations, executive level summaries, data analysis and visualization
Assist leadership team with managing their operational cadence as well as develop presentations/dashboards that help showcase the work of the area for forums for senior leaders and the Board
Based on current guidance from the CDC, local and state governments, and Humana leadership related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have extended travel restrictions until further notice. The policy will be reassessed as the situation warrants. Once these restrictions are lifted this role may require up to 25% travel depending on business needs; may require more for anyone not located in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent business related experience
3 years of experience creating executive level summaries and presentations
3 years of project leadership experience
2 years of full-time work experience in strategy consulting
Ability to leverage data and formulate it to make decisions & drive actionable insights
Possess a blend of business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make the vision a reality
Highly collaborative, flexible, teamwork oriented working style
Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence to drive consensus and solutions using a positive, values based approach
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to balance divergent needs and priorities in a complex organizational structure
Exceptional oral and written communications with the ability to communicate with all levels including Senior and Executive leadership
Must meet Humana work-at-home/remote requirements (see Additional Information)
Work at Home/Remote Requirements
Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings
Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required

This is a remote/work-at-home position, however, it is strongly preferred
(but not required)
that this role be located in Louisville, KY for in-person collaboration when CDC restrictions are lifted.​
