CRM Senior Consultant, Seattle
Join “Seattle’s Best Place to Work” as a CRM Senior Consultant within our Customer Experience practice and work with clients to transform and improve their sales, marketing, customer service, customer self-service, and partner channel management operations.
Customer relationship management (CRM) is business centered on the principles of understanding customers and building profitable relationships. As the foundation for how an organization markets, sells, and services its customers, the right CRM strategy and tools can drive customer experience and loyalty, sales efficiency, profitability, and competitive advantage.
This CRM Senior Consultant role will participate in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, creation and documentation of end user requirements of new and/or existing customer application implementation projects and implementing configurations. This role will create, document and test system interface specifications and client business processes. This position entails creating and maintaining system-related documentation, such as business requirements, user guides, process flows, status reports, configuration worksheets, project binders, etc. with all pertinent project information.
Responsibilities:
Senior Consultants at West Monroe Partners have three main areas of responsibility:
Client Delivery
Assist in re-engineering business and system processes around sales, marketing, customer service, customer self-service, and partner channel management
Understand business benefit, impact and value of project to clients
Plan, track and drive engagements for on-time, on budget delivery
Manage scope, risks and issues and client escalations, responding quickly to client concerns
Communicate and report project status to client executives, including time, budget, risks, issues, etc.
Analyze client's specific needs/requests to determine the underlying problems and recommend appropriate solutions
Experience working within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based project environment
Ability to lead and mentor other team members or developers while leading projects
On larger engagements, be able to work with larger management teams and identifying and managing inter-dependencies between the WMP project and other initiatives
Practice Development
Identify strengths and development opportunities within the Customer Experience practice and wider organization
Actively participate in the performance expectation and review processes
Participate actively in the recruiting process for other consultants
Participate in the recruiting process, continuing to grow a strong team with complementary skills
Participate in the development/enhancement of WMP’s methodologies and approaches to client delivery
Coach other consultants and actively participate in the performance expectation process
Business Development
Participate in business development meetings with prospective clients
Understand business needs and banking industry trends and help turn these into qualified opportunities, detailed proposals and projects
Participate in creating work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospective projects
Actively build a professional network and affiliate network in the local community
Attend networking events and business related social events
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2 years of hands-on design and build Salesforce.com implementation experience
Minimum 2 years of CRM project experience within a consulting firm or professional services division of a software company in a business analyst or consulting role
Excellent organizational, verbal, presentation/facilitation and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with people including project stakeholders and project team members.
Proactive desire to continue to broaden and deepen business and consulting skills.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment backed up by strong communication skills.
Ability to travel as required for client or internal engagements (up to 80%, Mondays-Thursdays)
