Job Overview
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to assist with a wide range of consulting assignments from inception to completion. It also includes assisting the partner to develop the consultancy portfolio to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within the required standard.
Essential Knowledge & Skills: -
Essential to have experience in a consulting practice working on a portfolio of clients

Level (or equivalent) degree, preferably in Business or a discipline relevant to the nature of the role
5 - 8 years' experience covering strategic plans, strategic marketing and portfolio management.
Demonstrable understanding and awareness of current issues within the sectors we serve i.e. SME/ entrepreneurial, commercial, arts and culture, tourism, education and not for profit.
Essential competencies: -
Portfolio and project Management:
Proven ability to focus on performance, meeting deadlines and producing results. A proven decision maker, evidence of sound judgement and common sense. Must be able to compile and analyse information, confidently report and present insights and recommendations/ actions to the client through workshops, webinars, presentations and conferences.
Business Development:
A strategic thinker, natural networker, at ease with selling services, takes ownership of learning, shows empathy with client needs, and seeks ways to improve. Evidence of enthusiasm and keeping abreast of developments in the consultancy sector and key client sectors.
People Leadership:
Proven ability to manage project teams, listen, build rapport, influence and build relationships.
Client relationship management:
Displays confidentiality, confidence, agility and affinity with client and Consulting teams. A multi-tasker.
