The Work (Role Description)
You will be designing, building, and executing projects within the R&D group. This role is focused on building and implementing novel graph algorithms aimed to address unique business challenges. You will be developing software solutions that address emergent and future potential business issues.
It will be critical to possess an in-depth knowledge on various graph analytics and machine learning algorithms to design reference architectures of end-to-end solutions, and utilizing & building tools to execute proof-of-concepts on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Researchers in Accenture Labs are called upon to:
Track a broad range of emerging technologies and become a deep expert in some of these.
Be able to brainstorm with senior members and leads on Knowledge Graph technology requirements
Have experience working with different database systems, search, graph analytics, and information retrieval methods
Have experience with the latest AI/ML tools, semantic web frameworks, and cloud platforms
Dive deeply into application areas that are relevant to Accenture and our clients, to understand where the most critical challenges, and most promising opportunities lie.
Envision, prototype, and communicate the value of new solutions to these challenges by learning and applying technical skills.
Explore and define new projects within the research agenda.
Build on ideas provided by stakeholders and leaders to produce high quality deliverables.
Execute projects through some combination of prototype development, empirical research and thought leadership.
Here's What You Need (Basic Qualifications):
Bachelors Degree in computer science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar
2 years of application development with experience using 2 or more programming languages, such as Python or Java
Expertise in graph analytics algorithms and libraries such as NetworkX, Spark GraphX, GraphFrames
Expertise in using at least one Machine Learning library (PyTorch, TensorfFlow, Scikit-Learn)
2 years of experience building and querying databases systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4J, StarDog
Bonus points if you have:
Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science
Technology related development of applied research prototypes
Experience working in cloud environments
Experience mentoring and/or leading a high-performing team of junior and senior researchers
