HR Operations & Shared Services Team at Pure

About this role:
The HR Consultant is a key member within our HR Operations & Shared Services team, combining the day-to-day operational prowess of HR Operations while balancing direct HR support to front-line people managers across multiple countries in close partnership with our HR Business Partners. This includes assisting managers with HR and Employee Relation (ER) specific topics that can span across performance management, compensation and benefits, policy and guideline building / translation, learning initiatives, and education on Pure HR tools and programs. This support is often done virtually across different time zones and spans multiple countries.
Responsibilities:
Engage as a trusted adviser, partner, and subject matter expert to provide coaching to managers and employees on a variety of Human Resource related topics
Displays a foundation understanding of Pure’s goals and business opportunities, and where the HR team - and this role - can contribute to execute its efforts, programs and initiatives.
Provides guidance and support in areas such as pay and rewards, performance and talent, employee development, and team building.
Strong consultative skills to diagnose, consult, and facilitate scenarios including performance development, performance improvement, policy interpretation and conflict resolution - this includes goal setting, use of talent reviews and, as needed facilitating calibration sessions
Broad knowledge of country specific labor laws and requirements; where applicable, understanding of where to obtain insights either through external sources or networks
Assist people managers with policy and / or guideline interpretation and compliance
Advising Pure’s people managers and employees in company-wide and local Pure HR programs
Project work in partnership with our HR Centers of Excellence (CoE’s), in the development and implementation of our HR programs in the region
Works with the regional HR Team Lead to design, develop and iterate scalable processes, practices, tools and templates to strengthen the consistency of HR engagement in the region
Being a champion of telling stories through data, identifying trends or concerns of organization health
Partners across other regions to identify best in class practices for use in region
In partnership with regional managers, HR Business Partners, and internal and outside counsel, understands and can mitigate risk through best practice strategies for a positive and effective employee experience
What you bring to the table:
4-6 years of experience in Employee Relations and / or a client-facing HR Business Partner role
Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
Eye towards data, quality and process improvement
Knowledge of multiple country employment and labor laws and ability to interact internally and with external counsel where appropriate
Collaborative, motivated, self-starter with a panache to jump into a fast paced environment to develop best in class strategies and approaches to a broad range of HR and Employee Relations topics
Demonstrated competence in the various HR functional areas including employee relations, compensation, consulting / coaching and leadership development.
Ability to understand and interpret multiple sides of complex scenarios, involving the necessary team members at the appropriate time
Ability to lead, influence and partner across key stakeholders to ensure the best outcome
Ability to work across time zones and comfort in a virtual work environment through Zoom meetings
Comfort working with remote management, remote updates and weekly check in's with your manager and team
Team player and demonstrates a positive, 'can do' attitude - willingness to roll up your sleeves and be excited to contribute in all parts of the Pure employee experience
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of individuals
Demonstrate commitment to helping employees and managers be successful and achieving high results in alignment with Pure’s values and business goals
Ability to demonstrate change management and organizational initiatives
