In the role you will be part of a friendly team of modellers, actuaries and software developers, working together to build and roll out the software across the insurance market.  You will work in an innovative and supportive atmosphere. This role will encompass a wide variety of work.  Initially the successful applicant can expect to be involved with the following:   Model requirements and design. You will keep abreast of market developments and gathering client business requirements to feed into the catastrophe pricing & portfolio model design. Model development. This will involve managing and overseeing development of our product and designing, implementing, and reviewing modelling solutions.   Sales support. Supporting the sales process through proof-of-concept exercises, demonstrations and trials.   We actively support the career development of our team and expect their skills and roles to develop quickly.   You will be responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. About you As a Consultant in the Tyche General Insurance team your qualifications and skills will ideally include the following: QualificationsEducated to degree level with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent qualification in a numerate, scientific or IT related discipline. You may be working towards an actuarial qualification, but this is not a requirement for the role Skills and ExperienceWe are looking for applicants that are technically strong, who can collaborate with our team and our clients to deliver modelling solutions.
