Profile

Coordinates and test modifications/enhancements for projects. Identifies problems, develops and runs acceptability tests verifying output is generated as designed. Analysis software upgrades to ensure scope of testing is identified. Responsible for coordinating all aspects of testing for a project. It includes System test for applications as well as Operations groups involved in the project. Assist with leading project by writing and execution of test scripts.
Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of software test methodologies and Quality Center (QC)
Knowledge of system capabilities usually obtained through formal training or experience with mainframe applications is required. Advanced analytical skills, usually obtained through experience in related jobs or through formal training in system analysis is required. Knowledge of Banking industry is required. Required ACH knowledge.
CSQA and/or CSTE certifications, a plus.
Major Duties
1. The BSA is responsible for writing and executing test scripts. They may also be involved with creating test plan. They also work with onshore and offshore resources to ensure correct execution of test scripts.
2. Meets weekly with resources assigned to the project review status, issues, risks, etc. Provide weekly project updates in resource management database.
3. Escalates all issues and risks to the PM, as well as Lead
4. Create and reviews Test strategy/Test Plan with Test Manager and PMO/Stakeholders.
5. Interacts with staff in systems and operations to formulate and implement solutions to improve processing.
6. Investigates and identifies root causes of errors during system, UAT and integration testing.
7. Evaluates effectiveness of new system changes; coordinates testing of changes and modifications.
8. Focus will be on delivery of SIT (System/Integration), and Coordination.
9. Ensures Test methodologies and processes are in compliance with established Software Development Guidelines and best-practices. Must deliver on customer requirements and expectations.
Experience
~ Bacheloras Degree or equivalent years of experience required
~ Practical knowledge of software development lifecycle with pinpoint focus on the Quality ~ Assurance/Testing phase
~ 2 a 3 years knowledge of Banking applications and Mainframe experience with testing specifically with the ACH application.
~ 2 a 3 years experience with Vendor upgrades processing
~ 2 a 3 years Quality Assurance/Testing experience.
